Today's lesson is called the 10 Things I Wish I Would Have Know When I first got started

in entrepreneurship.

The fact is there's probably a thousand of these.

I could probably do one of these every three months and do this over my entire lifetime

and give you guys some great stuff.

But I'm going to take you through 10 today.

And these aren't necessarily the 10 absolute, you know, my absolute one through 10 list.

They're in the top 50, but they're incredible.

And I wish I would have known all these when I got started.

The first one is a good idea may not be your idea.

In other words, just because you've got a good idea, it may be the wrong time for it.

Okay, it may not have synergy with anything else you have going on.

And you may not have the team to implement it.

I mean, I'm an idea person.

I have what I think are pretty good ideas often.

But again, I've tried to run on good ideas, but if it didn't fit with other things I had going on,

you know, it just distracted me from things that were already making me mine.

But it wasn't at the right time.

Things never work when the timing's not right.

And typically it's not the right time because you don't have enough resources at that time.

You don't have enough expertise at that time.
