And Sanskrit word, Bodi Jita, which means the heart mind of awakening.

Bodhi is, Bodhi means awakening and Jita is heart and mind together.

And on the relative level,

Bodie Jita is compassion and that is realizing that our practice is not for ourselves alone

but that we can actually nurture the aspiration

but all of our efforts at our practice be not only for ourselves

but for the welfare and benefit and awakening of all beings.

And we find this aspiration reflected in all of the different Buddhist traditions in different ways.

Of course, a person who embodies it

so beautifully is the Dalai Lama.

And he said, speaking of my own experience,

I sometimes wonder why a lot of people like me.

When I think about it, I cannot find in myself any specially good quality, except for one small thing.

That is the kind heart, which I tried to explain to others and which I do my best

to develop myself. Of course there are moments when I do get angry, but in the depth of my

heart I do not hold a grudge against anyone.

That's a really key point.
