and Jimmy. First of all, hello and haven't had a chance to talk to you since all the rumblings

went down a week or so ago with what the Bears did, especially on night one of the draft.

What was your initial reaction to Ryan Pace's aggressiveness? And has that initial reaction changed after it all sunk in?

No, it really hasn't changed.

I thought at some point the Bears were going to draft the quarterback.

Actually, my final mock draft, I had the Bears selecting Deshawn Watson out of Clemson,

because I just thought Cleveland was going to have too much firepower to try to

trade up to get Mitchell Tribisky to two. It ends up that, you know, Ryan Pace, who I talked to

yesterday on Sirius XM NFL radio, he said, hey, there's a real chance here we could get

Trubisky. So I personally don't think the bears gave up that much compensation. You know,

really wasn't that much that they gave up and they recouped a fourth rounder anyway when you look

at their draft. So overall, they get the quarterback that they want. It's not too steep of a price.

And quite honestly, because he's a young player with limited experience, you know, even if he has to

sit and groomed for two years, I think that's a real player with limited experience, you know, even if he has to sit and

and then if Trubisky isn't moving along or developing the way they want him to,
