Summary

Things look successful. On paper. But behind the scenes, you’re powered by caffeine, people-pleasing, and a quiet sense of collapse.

In this debut episode, Tiffany introduces Unperform—a podcast for high-achieving creatives who are done holding it all together, proving their worth, and performing "everything is great!" like it’s a full-time role they never auditioned for.

This episode is your permission slip to stop being everyone else's glue.

To unhook from hustle.

To burn the “shoulds” and rewrite your life from self-trust, not self-sacrifice.

If you’ve ever whispered “Is this it?”, if you’re exhausted by the performance but scared of the silence that comes after, and if you're done being productive at the cost of being human.… this episode is for you.

Now, we are moving over from Raise Your Hands Say Yes. Why are we moving over from Raise Your

it worked until it didn't. Because we have had a reckoning in the past

few years where COVID and the lockdown and all of the changes that have happened really made

us face that overachieving is not coming to save us, that our vast skill at learning how to power through and over commit

0:57.6

and overperform and overperform and do everything and try to be everything to everyone is number one,

not sustainable at all. And number two, the story that we've been fed that that is the way to success

1:09.8

is a total scam. So what we're doing now

1:13.8

is we are done being the glue. We are done trying to prove that we can do all the things. We are

1:21.3

done honestly being everybody's go-to, but the last to be thanked. And we are going to put that down and find a new way forward,

1:30.5

one that does not require self-betrayal as a strategy to get things done. Y'all, yes. Oh my gosh. Yes.

1:42.3

Now, why are we doing this? Why are we here? Why does this matter?

1:48.1

It matters because I don't know if I've talked about this before on the podcast, but one of my missions in my work is to create a world where future generations actually don't need coaches

to do what I help people do, to tell the truth about what they want, to wade through all

come home to myself. I always can return to myself and I always can count on my self.

And then building community from there, where we are living according to our values, not because of obligation, but because of true communion with ourselves and creativity and the earth and each other. No pressure, Tiffany Hahn. No pressure. And what I know
