This is Best to the Nest, the podcast that is all about creating strong, comfortable, beautiful nests that prepare us to fly. One of our favorites is back in the

0:23.7

nest today. Marjorie, this is really wonderful. We're just going to jump right into it today.

0:30.1

And I'm very, very excited about this conversation, particularly as someone, you know, who's in the

0:35.2

perimenopause phase, who's in the, you know, the 40s. Yeah,

0:39.4

that's what happens. This is all, anyone, all of my friends, the text chains are all about perimenopause.

0:44.9

I'm so sorry. Anyone in their 40s talks about. It's like we talk about protein and perimenopause, and it's

0:51.5

really. Do you, do you think you are in perimenopause or are you just

0:56.5

1:17.9

you've kind of either been doing great at putting money in the health bank or not. And it's,

1:23.3

you're at a real crossroads because you can make a decision about how you're going to live

1:26.7

from 40 to 60. And then you really see the difference, Marjorie, as you can attest.

1:32.0

Yes, I've been there, done that, over. I, you know, I am blessed. I had a very traumatic

1:38.1

young 40s, so I had a hysterectomy in my early 40s because I got, I got very sick. But they left my

1:47.3

ovaries. And I know there's probably a lot of research. A lot of people were saying what a

1:52.5

horrible thing it was and how awful it is to have a hysterectomy. It was the best thing that

1:57.1

ever happened to me. Wow. 100% the best thing that ever happened to me. And since they left my ovaries, I had

2:03.5

virtually no menopause. I mean, I did, but I started, I changed my diet in my early 40s.

2:10.4

I did everything. I researched everything you can do to minimize all symptoms of menopause.
