You get used to it after a while understanding that you're never going to be able to please anybody.

And as long as I could wake up every day and say, I'm not doing this because it's an easy opportunity.

I'm doing this because it's something I love and I want to work at it.

I'm fully cognizant to the fact that my last name and my dad being in the building got me a shot earlier than I would have otherwise.

But I wasn't going to complain about anything.

I was beyond thankful for every opportunity and I was just going to make sure, all right, I got a bunch of little chances to show everybody.

This guy's going to come in, he's going to work hard, and however the opportunity came, when they come up, he's going to put in the work.

He's a college football analyst for ESPN, and he also wears a number of different hats at the company, and that's Mike Golick, Jr.

Mike played offensive guard at the University of Notre Dame from 2008 to 2012, and was named an academic All-American in his senior year.
