Summary

Aaron is driving home late on a Virginia highway. He sees someone standing in the road. No features. No skin tone. Just a black figure staring straight down the road at him. He is going 70 miles an hour, and it does not move. Then it leans forward and braces for the hit. He cannot swerve. He cannot stop. What happens next is shocking.That night should have wrecked his faith. Instead, it built it. Aaron walks us through the worst year of his life, the sleep paralysis, the breathing under his bed, the dream that stopped him cold, and the shadow on the road he still cannot explain.
