This podcast is one I've been looming in my head for a long time, maybe two years.

It's one of those ones where I know everybody needs to hear it, but I'm not sure everyone will appreciate it.

Al-Hamda-ilah, you know, this topic of feminism has just been looming for the longest time.

And whether you are for it or you're against it it I think the spin on this one is going to have

you thinking do we really need feminism is it our fight for Muslim women at least

al-hambul-l-l-l-l-hank and so hunker down give yourself about 30 minutes I did this talk in

Minnesota shout out to the Somali community there,

and I want you to really, really consider all the points I'm making and ask yourself,

does that really belong in our lives? Take a lesson. What I want to just start with So many of the points of the brothers, Allaha Alam.

if we knew who we once were, we wouldn't accept who we are now.

I will address feminism, but first I want to take a quick moment to remind us all of the actual

the legacy of our people, especially our women, especially for the women in the room, they don't

actually know the legacy. Maybe no one has ever told us. Subhallah, so many things about our
