A really big part of this podcast is helping women do things that they've always wished they could do

0:04.8

but they couldn't with really kind of step-by-step help. In today's podcast, we're going to be

0:09.4

talking about how to say what you really feel. Now, that's a big one. That could be to your parents,

0:14.9

to your spouse, to your coworkers. At the end of the day, so many of us, whether we like to admit it or not, are worried

0:21.6

about how we're going to hurt people, whether they're going to think about us, if they're still

0:24.7

going to like us, you know, what's going to happen if I bring that up in front of X people. And so

0:30.0

these are things that hold us back oftentimes from saying what we mean, what we really feel.

0:35.9

And sometimes even because we can't say what we feel

0:38.5

and mean, we end up having to do things or being obligated to things that we really don't feel comfortable

0:44.0

about or don't want to do it all. But what if instead you could have the confidence and the clarity

0:49.4

in the words to tell that person, they're not to do any of that, any of that stuff that you don't

0:54.3

feel comfortable about. We're going to talk to you about that in the podcast, exactly how to do it

0:58.4

because I was a person who once did that, but I don't anymore. And oh my goodness, it's liberating.

1:28.7

podcast on Monday, but we are here. And al-h-h-a-l-l-h-a. I'm here to support your journey again

1:34.6

and just happy to come here every week and meet with you and just make sure that we're helping

1:39.8

you grow and thrive. And al-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-harmuas-ma. My name is Mindful Muslim-Masma, and I'm the host here,

1:46.0

Mindful Muslim-Sama-Speaks podcast. And, ins the things that we have in common is we don't always

2:01.8

know how to say how we feel. We don't always know how to like not worry about other people's

2:07.5

feelings over our own. And you know, in Islam, we're always full of obligations. You know,

2:11.6

your parents don't talk to them like this or, you know, your husband or this. But, you know,

2:17.1

it can sound rigid, but it's not.
