Brian Barron joined the Indians, the Cleveland Indians in January of 2014 as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Prior to his time with the Indians, Barron spent 24 years at Procter and Gamble. During his tenure at

P&G he had opportunity to leave multifunctional business teams across over a dozen

of P&G's billion-dollar brands as well as lead customer business development teams such as Walmart and

Kroger.

Varen graduated from Princeton University in 1989 where he spent four years playing football

with Mark Shapiro as a teammate. On graduation he served

as a tank commander in the US Army. Brian now oversees the entire business operation for the

Cleveland Indians and has been a catalyst for strong growth and sustainability of the brand.

Yeah, you and I are about the same age.

I think I'm a year older than you.

I guess I graduated in 88.

So same era.

How did you, I guess was P&G where you started right out of college?

Yes, started at Procter and Gamble in the summer of 1989 in Philadelphia.
