We've got some exciting news. We're going to announce the winner, the team that represents

0:51.5

trail runner nation out at the Ragnar Relays. And we have, we're going to be sending them

0:55.1

some PEK tattoos and some hats, some TRN hats, so they can represent. They need to represent.

1:01.6

But before we announce that, we're going to talk about a really cool thing that Ragnar

1:05.3

has done this year. First time 2019 is the black loop challenge. There are five races,

1:12.8

Appalachians, Tahoe, Rainier, Wawa Yanda. That's it's got Wawa Yanda and Southern California.

1:20.2

Those five races have the black loop challenge. This is how you, how you do it. You pick a team

1:24.4

of two. You run all three loops first day. If you're familiar with a trail Ragnar Scott,

1:32.7

you know, you send it a runner out on the green loop. They come back, hand the baton,

1:37.0

1:41.6

on the red loop. But this is different. The black loop challenge is you and your teammate.

1:46.8

You only have one teammate. You go and run the green loop. You come back. You have an

1:50.9

hour rest. Then you run the yellow loop. You come back. You have a rest. You have to finish

1:55.6

together. Then you run the red loop and you have a rest. The second day, well, first,

2:01.2

those three loops are about 15 miles total. The second day, you run the black loop. Now,

2:07.2

the black loop is a total of 18 miles with some massive climbing. In fact, when you finish

2:12.5

the black loop, you're probably going to come back. Find out who the race director is

2:15.4

and slap them upside the head. It's going to be that difficult for experienced runners.

2:20.2

If you register today, Scott, you can still take advantage of the TRN discount $80 off

2:27.0

on your entire team. But that does not include the black loop. Yeah, the black loop is only

2:32.0

$390 for the two team, the team of two. But if you register for the ultra event with

2:39.0

a bigger team, you can go to our partners page, click on the Ragnar trail banner and you
