Hefe Branim is originally from Connecticut, but has since transplanted himself to beautiful

Gunnison, Colorado, where he spends his work days as a bike mechanic in his free time,

mountain biking, bikepack packing, and endurance racing.

In 2014, Hefe won the 2,700-mile Tour Divide, and he's even won the 500-mile Colorado

Trail Race four times now. Hefe, welcome to the show.

talk a little bit about that and what made you transplant yourself to Gunnison, Colorado.

You know, I would say I have a fairly normal background growing up in Connecticut.

I wasn't really into all that much adventure.
