Summary
In this Patreon exclusive Wapiti Wednesday podcast, we talk 5 big considerations to 201 level elk tag applications. I am joined in studio with Jaden Bales and Rick Hutton from FHF Gear to go over what things guys should consider when wanting to consistently kill elk every single year.
We also discuss and breakdown why preference points vs bonus points vs OTC matter and how you should be thinking about each type of state draw system. One big topic that comes up a lot is in regard to those Oregon/Washington residents and when does it make sense to start hunting out of state? We cover some considerations to this hopefully add some value to those folks in the dilemma and looking for better hunting.
Rick and Jayden pose some great questions and even though we talk mostly in regard to archery hunting we do cover some thoughts on rifle hunting and getting rifle elk tags. Overall this is a great podcast and hopefully helps some of you Patrons decide on what kind of year you are looking to have. As always, if you have further questions feel free to reach out.
