Dr. Mike Isritel. Dr. Mike Isritel is the co-finder of Renaissance periodization, which is a very,

very well-known company, not only in the

coaching world, but in the education space for training and nutrition. He holds a PhD in sports

physiology from East Tennessee State University. He is a former professor of exercise in sports

science in the School of Public Health at Temple University in Philadelphia. He has taught

several courses there, including nutrition for public health, advanced

sports nutrition and exercise, nutrition and behavior, so on and so forth.

He's actually originally from Moscow, Russia, and he has worked as a consultant on sports

nutrition to the U.S. Olympic training site in Johnson City, Tennessee, and has been an

invited speaker at numerous scientific and

performance health slash fitness conferences worldwide. I've actually seen him speak in Philadelphia.

Great speaker. And he's just been all around. He's also a Brazilian jiu-jitsu grappler. He is a

bodybuilder. He's a pretty fascinating guy. And not only that, he's extremely intelligent.
