Summary

During the Christmas season it’s easy to get lost in the holiday swirl and lose sight of the promises that God has kept through Jesus. That’s why in this episode we’re looking at Zechariah’s song of praise. His words will give us hope and perspective no matter what we’re going through. As Zechariah recounts the history of Israel and the dawning redemption, our spirits will be lifted. As we go into a new year, remember that our God is a promise keeper and He is not forgetful of us or His promises. While this season may carry both joy and difficulty, we have good news! 1:02.6	In fact, I've got a little bit of an update for you guys, very important stuff going on.
1:08.2	I think I have said throughout the podcast that I've had a little bit of construction going on at my house. And as a result, I got a raccoon in my attic as of just a few days ago. And so this has
1:18.6	been really thrilling. And I'm thinking that apparently the Lord did not think that I had enough
1:26.2	going on during this Christmas season and that I needed
1:29.9	a raccoon just for a little extra activity. So anyway, I didn't really think that there was
1:35.7	anything worse than having a live raccoon in the attic, but it is actually now possible that I
1:42.9	have a dead raccoon in the attic or a lost raccoon,
1:47.2	which is, yeah, I don't know. I'm not sure which really what is the worst of all of the options.
1:52.2	So those are things that I'm working on today. So the podcast is actually just this really
1:57.7	nice break from all of that excitement. And also, I wanted to let you guys know,
2:02.3	another really big, important piece of news is that organic marshmallows do exist. You guys were
2:09.5	the ones that told me this. I think it was the last episode or the one before that that I was
2:14.5	talking about the organic hot chocolate, which I really love,
2:18.8	but then how I kind of ruined that with non-organic marshmallows.
2:22.0	But then you guys let me know that there actually are organic marshmallows out there on the market.
