We're talking about socialism again today, but today we're going to talk about the Misesian critique, the critique of Ludwig von Mises in his famous article, Economic Calculation in the Socialist

Commonwealth, all the way back in 1920.

And joining us to talk about this article, because he himself has written

an article on this subject that expands on the Misesian critique, is our old friend from Poland,

Professor Matt Mahai. Matt is the founder and chief economist of the Mises Institute of Poland.

He's also an assistant professor at the Institute of Economics

of the University of Brotswap. I also want to point out, by the way, to everybody, that next

week I'm going to be airing as an episode of this show, a talk I gave at my kids' school.

It's a K-12 school, and I spoke to the 11th graders, as I've done for several years in a row now.

They have a great ideas course, and one of the great ideas is classical liberalism.

So I went in and talked about that for 90 minutes, and I recorded it, and I'm going to use that as an episode of this here show next week.
