Marxism is our topic today. We're going to talk about some of the foundational issues of Marxism, and then maybe in future episodes we'll revisit this topic and get into it more deeply. But I want to begin with the basics, and then we can proceed from there. And joining us today to talk about this is

David Gordon. David Gordon holds a PhD in intellectual history from UCLA. He's a senior fellow

of the Meese's Institute, and he is the author of numerous books, including Resurrection

Marx, the Analytical Marxists on Freedom, Exploitation, and Justice,

and the Essential Rothbard. Also, of all the people I know, I would say David comes closest

to being somebody, I would say, knows absolutely everything. I have never met, known, encountered, talked to, heard of,

I don't know what else to say, somebody who knows as much as David. It's astonishing. So I figure I can have him on to talk about anything,

but he did write a book on at least the analytical Marxists,

so I thought, well, let's talk about Marxism.
