For most of my life, when I accomplish something major, I don't brag about it. That's like I was taught

not to brag about it. And sometimes I don't even post about it, don't even acknowledge it publicly,

because for me, and not just me, but for the teams that I manage and most of the people that I manage,

when we win an election or when we pass a policy, we send an email out to our donors and supporters,

we celebrate in a huge way on our Slack channels or on Zoom or FaceTime, but we don't do as much

public celebrating in part because we kind of take a lot of pride in private victories and

and I still believe in that philosophy, but I've grown to understand and it was my time with

Gary Chambers who's running for Congress in Louisiana. It was my time in Louisiana with him this

past week and with the mayor of Baton Rouge and the City Council of Baton Rouge. But I really,

believe it just, it became crystal clear for me that if we don't tell and teach people what we do,

it leaves an empty space, a vacuum, and it leaves the opportunity for people to fill that space

with lies and with destructive stories and and falsehoods and we have to fill the space so people

know like, no, this is what I do. For living, this is what my life is about and I'm going to spend

a lot more time not just here on the podcast, but across my entire internet universe, really unpacking

and explaining for people what it is that I do, what our teams do and what we accomplish.
