Summary

I am. Hello, hello. I was worried I was going to have to do this one solo. You could handle it. You can do it. That's very kind of you to think that. But way more fun to talk to you, which is exactly what we're going to do. We're going to get your check-in first. What have you been up to this week? So last episode, I talked about how we went to get the girls' ears pierced last week. And Cece got one ear pierced and then decided she was done.

And I left everyone hanging, but I have an update this week.

Ooh, an update so soon. Okay. Because I recall the piercer came up to you afterwards and was like,

look, this happens every single time they changed their mind and they're going to come back.

And so just when she's ready to come back, just let me know, right? Yeah. So I didn't know if she was just going to rock

one earring for eternity or not because she was really owning it there. The beginning, she went to school

the next day. She's like, I'm going to show off my ear piercing, my one ear piercing to all my

friends. And she was very proud of it. And she's like, I think I kind of like having one ear

pierce. It's unique. And I'm like, it is totally unique. But then after two days or so,

she was like, I think maybe I want to get my other ear pierced. And, you know, I was trying not to put on any pressure because really it's just the societal expectation, right? That's kind of just inside of me. Like, oh, she's supposed to get both ears pierced, which is, I was fighting that because who cares? Really, like, if she just wants one ear pierced, that's's fine but when she said she wanted to get the other

one pierced there was a tiny bit of me that was like oh okay that's i think that might be better in the

long run i don't know but i was glad to hear it but i didn't pressure her into it i was just like

okay cool you let me know i can make an appointment with nick and we can get it pierced and at the

end of the conversation i I threw in this statement.
