Summary

From the beginning of church history Christians have been persecuted for their faith. Today, Christians around the world are being kidnapped, attacked, and even beheaded for their faith. Here in the the United States, while we may not experience that same kind of persecution, there is an increased antagonism toward followers of Jesus. 0:46.4	would be persecution, because it will purify us and have us doing what we're supposed to be doing.
0:51.9	So this morning, I opened up my Facebook page, and one of the first things I see is an item
1:00.7	about persecution going on in India. And I think one of the first emotions that I experienced was
1:10.2	one of almost grief because of how so little we think about this and how so often it's going on.
1:18.9	You know, it's an item that got my attention, but it's not like it's not happening, right? It's
1:24.0	like waves crashing on the beach. You may walk away, not be hearing them, but it keeps going on.
1:29.3	So guys, I want to talk about that today. It is, you know, our problem here is that my latte was
1:37.6	not as hot as I wanted it to be, even though Oscar quit drinking coffee, but then started again.
