I mean MacArthur Park, tell us about that.

Well back in New Zealand, when we knew we were coming to live in the US, I thought I'm

going to have to give up my opening and preaching ministry, which I was daily.

It was just such a part of what I did.

And I thought I'm going to give that up because I looked at Los Angeles, and now I can see

those cars.

You know, you see pictures of cars and people, you know, there were people gathering.

And so a song came on the radio.

It was written in a conic song called MacArthur Park, an amazing song.

And I thought it just kept coming back.

And I asked a friend, he was from the US, and he says, oh, I know MacArthur Park.

He said, it's just packed with the homeless and that.

But he says, that's about 20 miles from where you're going to live.

And so I determined to go there, and I went there for about a year, and fed the homeless

and bathed there, the wounds of drug addicts and sore sites.

I never want to see again.

I saw a man with hair on his eyeball.

I saw a knee that was looked like an orange that had been split and turned inside out

in such horrible things that we had to bathe.

And I had no background in first aid at all.

It was just like, whatever, this is all poor, that on this, you know, bite onto this

bit of wood and all.
