Jess is an artist, an illustrator, and pattern designer, her surface designer, and she and I

have been friends for a few years. We used to work on a

collaborative website together, which feels like 100 years ago, called Spring. And I'm just

super excited. Jess, welcome. Thank you. I'm having to be here. So welcome. Thanks for being here.

And, oh, you just do so much really fun stuff. It's so fun kind of watching your business be what it is.

What do you tell us a little bit about the different types of things that you work on.

Oh, gosh. There are so many. So I'm a painter and a surface pattern designer primarily.

So I sell my paintings through a couple of galleries, and I also sell original work and prints of my work,

and my work turned into other types of products on my website and in a handful of shops around Portland

and around the country.

And I also license those paintings and also my digital patterns to companies who use them

for different types of products like home decor, rugs, iPhone cases, stationary, fabric, things like that.

So those products are also sold in different types of stores all around country.

I also wrote a book a couple of years ago with a friend, Michelle Ford, many of you probably know, and I just finished

writing another book about pattern design, just coming out in spring. So I guess I can call

myself an author, too, even though that feels really weird. Yeah, well, and you've also written

an e-book, which I want to talk about a little bit later. And I'm going to link to all of
