0:06.9	And today's topic is Vietnam. The name. What a time. Yeah. What a crazy time. I mean, in some ways,

0:44.0	knowledge started for America in the 40s. Yeah. And yeah. And it was because we were helping France,
0:53.2	because we owed France from the Revolution War. Yeah. The thing I've looked at it, dude, France
0:59.0	dragged us into this to the point that's like, oh, France was France owned Vietnam. It was a colony.
1:06.0	Japan took it when they went. They got a little wild. Yeah. And then the United States liberated it.
1:12.6	That was the thing. Ho Chi Minh, the guy who ended up being the leader of the Viet Cong, was like,
1:17.2	I love America. That's right. He was writing letters to Truman saying like, I love you. Thank you.
1:25.6	They were like Americans are the only free people on earth. He's an incredible people. The leader
1:31.1	of them loved America. Yeah. And then he started, this is the craziest part. So France goes back in
1:37.1	after the war. And it's like, we're taking it back. And America was like, can't you don't do that?
1:42.4	Yeah. And we were kind of siding with Ho Chi Minh and the Vietnamese. And then France was like,
1:50.2	this is the beginning of the Cold War. So France is like, hey, if you guys don't support us,
1:54.0	maybe we'll start listening to fucking Russia. And then America was like, I will, we'll
1:58.4	fucking help you out. Then, anyway, that is interesting. And by the way, speaking of Ho Chi Minh,
2:03.4	writing letters to Truman, all those letters were redacted and like, until like 1970 something.
2:10.4	And half of them Truman never got because the secret service was like, wow, he doesn't need to see
