This is your host, Daniel Horowitz, back in the house for another week of truth-telling of independent thought.

And news and views that frankly you will not hear anywhere else, which is why you guys keep coming back here.

Because if other people are saying it, you know what?

There's other places to go. We won't focus on it here.

We focus on the important issues that are being ignored.

And certainly even in this quiet week, there still is a lot to talk about.

Congress is out, as you well know, my analogy from Friday, like someone that does this business in the bathroom and kind of leaves without cleaning up.

That's your Congress there. We have an invasion at our border and they don't really care.

The Supreme Court is also pretty quiet. They are back in session this week, but haven't seen any big news there.

But it is April 15th, which is a very ominous day for many reasons.

It's obviously the sixth anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombing.

It is the death of Abraham Lincoln. He was shot on April 14th, which is my birthday, by the way.

Pretty ominous there. Also the Titanic sunk that night.
