So maybe you realized this already sometime in your past, maybe the last time you took a turn around a CVS or a right aid,

but it is much more expensive to be a woman than it is to be a man.

How much more? Well, a 2020 study from the California Senate Committee found women pay an average of $2,400 more for the same goods and services like razors and shampoo.

And conditioners and even t-shirts than men.

That's each year and it can add up to almost $200,000 in what we call the pink tax throughout a woman's life.

And it's not even factoring the money that we spend on things that men don't typically spend on things like hair dye and manicures and waxing and makeup and the list goes on and on and on.
