Summary

For the past several days, Texas and other southern states have been slammed with record low temperatures. Many of the people and organizations in these areas were not prepared for the severe conditions, leaving millions without electricity. Frozen pipes are a problem as well, and there are heartbreaking reports of what's going on with our elderly in nursing homes during this time. Some on the Left, like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Beto O'Rourke, have claimed that this is all about climate change and that this is exactly why we need a Green New Deal. Naturally, this is hypocritical of AOC and Beto. Is weather related to climate or not? Texas gets 25% of its power from renewable energy, and during this cold snap, we've seen wind turbines frozen in place and solar panels covered in ice, limiting the state's ability to return power to the people. Also, we discuss last night's town hall with President Joe Biden, in which he said some questionable things about minorities and children, but more importantly, he sidestepped a chance to denounce the totalitarian behavior of the government of China. Biden had no interest in denouncing the CCP, in an eerily similar parallel to the appeasement of Germany right before World War II. 0:28.8	that's not typically something that we cover on this podcast, but I actually think that it's
0:34.0	important. Not just because there are so many people who are negatively affected right now, but
0:38.7	also because there are a lot of myths that are surrounding this and a lot of political theater
0:47.4	that I also think is clouding the reality of the why. This is not my expertise by the way. I'm
0:53.8	going to tell you what experts have told me and there are many other factors that plan to this.
0:58.3	But I actually think it's important to talk about this. We're also going to talk about one or two
1:04.6	things that Biden said in his town hall last night and how it relates to the world view issue
1:13.1	foreign policy and how we see bright versus wrong when it comes to our foreign allies and enemies.
1:22.0	And then we will also talk about how that kind of morally relativistic all argue world view
1:29.9	leads us to create enemies here in our country who aren't actually our enemies, especially in
1:35.8	regards to categorizing all Christians is Christian extremists and people who cause violence simply
1:42.7	by believing that for example the Bible is an era to so we'll try to get all of that in today.
