Although at the time of your hearing this, we will have just concluded Fashion Week.

Today I'm going to talk about something else.

It's something I experienced over Fashion Week, but isn't directly correlated to fashion per se.

Right now, we're still in the thick of Fashion week, and all I can think when I look around is when the fuck did everyone get pregnant.

I don't know if I'm just seeing bumps on everyone

because I'm so attuned to babies growing inside uteruses that are not my own, but I'm having this really,

really strange and visceral reaction to people getting pregnant. Yesterday, for example,

a friend of mine who I've adored since I met her like four years ago told me she was

pregnant and I couldn't even hide how envious I felt.

You know what it felt like? I'll tell you exactly what it felt like. Have you ever been in a

situation where your boyfriend cheated on you and you found out by way of the girl that he

cheated with coming over to you saying something like I've been hooking up with your boyfriend

for the last two months,

or have you ever liked a guy or a girl only to find that said man or woman actually likes your

best friend? Have you ever felt slighted by a parent who seems to be giving preferential treatment
