This episode is the final part of my chat with Stephanie Langford about

extended travel with kids. If you haven't yet heard episodes 34, 35, and 36, you'll want to listen

to those first before diving into this one, because this is part four of four as a special

edition series. All right, so we talked about the why of extended

travel with kids in 34, and in episode 35, we talked about the how of packing and planning.

In 36, we talked about world schooling. So in this final episode, number 37, we wrap all

the stuff up with a heavy dose of honesty.

The parts of extended family travel that were hard.

It's easy to see all the Instagrams and the fun stuff and think, man, there is no negative to this sort of backpacking with kids for a long time.

But clearly that's not true.

In this episode, we dish out some real

talk. Lots of travel stories here. And obviously the goods outweigh the bads because

Stephanie and I still love traveling with our kids. It's worth it. It really is. So we get into

the great, wonderful, glorious worth it stuff, too. We combine talking about the hard

stuff with the things we did to make those hard things easier. And at the end, we share our

favorite countries that we visited. Okay, Stephanie, so we've talked about all the positive

reasons why we traveled with our kids when they were young. We've talked about all
