I would love for you to do in podcast discussing ex- Mormons that have children still in the church.

I left the church within the last year and my children are still attending with their father.

We are in the process of a divorce.

I know that I am not the only person in this situation. It's hard to know what the correct thing is to do for my children.

My instinct is to sit them down and tell them all the reasons the church is wrong, but I also don't want to destroy something that is important

to them and that they draw a great deal of strength from.

Would they hate me for it?

Or understand that I only have their best interest at heart. how do I deal with the judgment that I feel from the older kids as I make choices that are clearly not aligned with their beliefs.

So in our intro you heard from Tammy. Now she

filled out our listener response survey and wrote that question that you heard

her reading and she's also friends with Mike and Olivia who we recently spoke to on our episode about marriage

when one spouse is a believer and the other is not. So Tammy wanted to know how to

raise kids when one spouse is a believer and the other is not.

At least that's what I thought she wanted to know.

So we brought on Randy to join Mike and Olivia

and then bring on Tammy as well to talk about this question.

But it became pretty obvious to me early on that

this wasn't really going to be a discussion on how to raise kids when one spouse

is a believer in the other is not it's really about how to deal with children
