Hello, everyone. Welcome to episode 364. We've almost made a full year of episodes if you listen every single day. Oh, yeah. Wow.

The moon has gone around the sun or the sun has gone around the earth. Wait, I don't know. Oh, boy.

This is going to be a great episode.

This is not a science podcast, everyone. It's a pregnancy and parenting podcast. And speaking of pregnancy and parenting, I'd love to hear, well, first of all, I'd be very surprised to hear that you have pregnancy news. But I think you probably have some parenting stuff to check it on.

Oh, you're correct about that. So this week was the week leading up to Memorial Day weekend, which is a nice fun, three-day weekend. And it's the second to last week of school for my girls. They end kind of early. And so lots of like fun activities going on at school to just kind of celebrate the end of the year. And Steve and I sent out an invitation to you guys and some other friends like come over for Memorial Day barbecue.

Like let's celebrate and just have fun summer vibes.

Well, that all came to a grinding halt when my dear little CeC spiked a 102 fever, which didn't go away

for about six days.

She gets the worst fevers.

She really just, they last forever.

Poor thing.

Well, I take her to the doctor and find out girl has pneumonia,

walking variety, which is good, the atypical. It's not as severe. But I was like, all right,

well, that explains why it wasn't getting any better. But the real complicating factor there is that

now we have to give her medication to help her fight the pneumonia.

And if you recall, my past experiences with CCN medication, it's usually a very difficult situation.
