Today I want to bring you an interesting story. I thought this would be nice on July 4th. It's not very festive, but it does highlight your freedom, your personal freedom. Freedom from what? Well, I'm going to explain this after the story. Some of you might have heard of the scorpion and the frog, but not many people seem to have heard this story. Suddenly, the scorpion saw a frog sitting in the rushes by the bank of the stream on the other side

2:01.7

He decided to ask the frog for help, getting across the stream.

2:06.1

Hello, Mr. Frog called the scorpion across the water.

2:10.2

Would you be so kind as to give me a ride on your back across this river?

2:17.4

Well now, Mr. Scorpion, how do I know that if I try to help you, you won't try to kill me?

2:26.3

Asked the frog hesitantly.
