Just spent four days in China.

Four days in Beijing.

Four days at a conference center on the outskirts of Beijing, I'd say 40 kilometers from the city center.

I was hired.

Or shall I say, somebody was kind enough to give me some money to come give a presentation on trend following trading.

I did not know what I was walking into.

I just went.

I did not even know the name of the group or the hotel until frankly about 24 to 48 hours before the event and was still not familiar with them or the conference center location or anything.
