Valentine's Day is coming up, woohoo, which means that boxes of chocolates they are flying off the shelves.

Florists are no doubt working overtime and if you have yet to make a Valentine's Day dinner reservation,

Plan a night in, avoid the crowds, avoid the price markups.

This year Americans are set to spend nearly $26 billion on Valentine's Day.

That's billions with a B according to the National Retail Federation.

And in the spirit of all that cash being spent in the name of love,

we are going to spend this episode digging deep into money and relationships.

Specifically, we're going to talk about how and why couples argue about money.

It is one of the most common conflicts that we face in our relationships.

According to Fidelity Investments, most recent couples and money study, 44% of couples say they argue about their finances.

And one in five say money is their greatest relationship challenge.
