| 1:13.4 | The importance of this step, right thought, is highlighted by one simple, obvious, but often overlooked truth, |
| 1:29.4 | namely an understanding of the great power of habit and habitual tendencies in the |
| 1:37.6 | unfolding of our lives. There's a contemporary biologist named Rupert Shell Drake. |
| 1:45.0 | And he makes this point in a theory which he promotes, |

| 1:53.0 | calls morphic resonance. |
| 1:54.0 | And in it he says that the more the habits of different species are repeated, |
| 2:00.0 | the more probable they become. |
| 2:05.0 | The more they repeated the more probable they become. |
| 2:09.0 | So likewise, the more we repeat certain kinds of thoughts, certain kinds, certain patterns of thought. |
| 2:20.0 | The more often we repeat them, the more probable it is that they will arise again. |
| 2:29.5 | So given that our actions are conditioned by how we think about ourselves and how we think about the world. |
| 2:41.6 | So our actions are conditioned by thoughts. |
