Well we are too, so yay, we're excited to be back in this space talking about fitness,

talking about wellness, talking about mental health, and I think this is a really important

community that we really wanted to get back into, so we're back.

This week we're bringing our podcast mom, we call her mom Sandy, so you've heard us if

you're an OG Girls Gone Wad listener, you've heard us talk about mom Sandy over the years.

She's not our biological mothers, but she is our podcast mom.

We met her the first year that we were podcasting, she became our lawyer, our contract wrangler,

our confident, our mentor, she's just an amazing, amazing human being.

She lost her husband last year to cancer, which was devastating in and of itself, but during

the pandemic, of course, if you had losses or anything challenging during a pandemic,

it just felt like an extra layer of grief was laid on you.

So I got some really bad news this past weekend that I lost a family member suddenly, and

I was going to record with Sandy that day, and I told her I was like, you know, this

is what happened.

I'm kind of in a weird space, but I still want to record.

I have a tendency that when something like that happens, I want normalcy, and she was

like, why don't we talk about grief?
