Summary
In this episode, I discuss the effect of negative emotions on our physical hunger, and the tweaks I've made that will make it easier for you to practice paying attention to your hunger scales with the help of food journals. Emotional hunger is something you need to be very mindful of because negative emotions are the fuel for emotional eating. Joy eats are okay, but when you begin to use them to take care of those negative emotions, you actually hurt yourself and further erode that mind-body connection.
