Hello, everybody. Welcome back to Iron Culture. It is Monday. It is approximately seven, a few minutes late, a little bit of technical stuff behind the scenes, but we're pushing through. We're making it happen. Thanks so much for joining us on this Monday night. I am Eric Truxler, as always, joined by the Dr. Eric Helms.

Helms was texting me all weekend. He's a huge college football guy. I just want to reiterate Helms.

0:29.8

I agree. A little nervous with Duke getting out to a slow start on offense, but their defense looked fantastic.

0:35.6

Offense really came online, got the passing game going

0:38.0

in the second half. Very comfortable win over Elon. Love to see that. Ohio State with a tremendous

0:44.4

defensive effort, absolutely shutting down Arch Manning, a tremendous battle between two teams and

0:50.6

Helms. You said it first, but I agree. I think we're going to see them playing late into the winter. You know, keep January open if you want to see them going out of it again.

1:00.1

But Helms, other than that, how are you doing?

1:02.6

I'm doing well, and I didn't feel like I could get a word in edgewise with those texts,

1:07.3

because you just kept hitting me up about not only the North American powerlifting

1:12.2

championships that just recently happened where both Taylor Atwood and Russell Orhey moved

1:18.0

up a weight class and attempted to break the 83 and the 93 kilo weight class records, but also

1:23.7

World Games, which just happened in China, you know, a couple weeks ago, which was the first

1:30.3

time that raw powerlifting, not just single ply for the IPF, was there. And some of the

1:37.1

world records that were broken and the incredible performances. So, yeah, I mean, like you,

1:43.6

I also anticipated that Taylor Atwood was going to be the one to break the 83 kilo record, having been a little bit longer in the class and not miss it and then have Russell or he, actually after this is true, accidentally flying to the wrong country, last minute getting another flight, flying into the right country.

2:00.8

The wrong country. Where was this? Yeah. So I don't want to, I don't want to dwell on it too much because

2:06.7

it, it's a truly honest mistake. Like it was a, it was the similar named location and they

2:14.8

both are in the broader North American sphere.

2:19.8

You know, they're both islands that you could host a North American Procting Federation.

2:24.7

And it was a genuine mistake.

2:26.3

You know, you don't look at kind of the things too quickly.
