0:44.2	pizza mind. It's a pleasure to have you. What were you doing before you got into crypto and what convinced
0:50.5	you that this was the future? Yeah, I got into playing poker in college.
0:56.4	After I graduated, I was deciding, I studied economics and was deciding whether or not
1:01.8	to do a real job or go work for myself.
1:04.9	And I was having too much fun playing poker online.
1:09.1	And after college, I ended up buying a house in Vegas and moving here
1:13.4	and was playing poker from like 2007 to 2011 and experienced this Black Friday event.
1:22.9	I don't know if you're familiar with the online poker world, but in 2011, they shut down
1:27.7	all the offshore poker sites, like Fultil Poker Ultimate Bet, and basically wiped out the whole
1:35.3	industry overnight for U.S. players.
1:38.3	Oh, my God.
1:39.9	And around that time, maybe like six months prior to that, I'd heard about Bitcoin for the first time in late 2010 on my favorite podcast.
1:51.4	And, you know, that sort of, you know, this first time I heard about it on this podcast, they had Gavin Andresen, who was the lead developer of Bitcoin at the time as the guest.
