It's Super Bowl week.

The Bears aren't there, but that doesn't mean that stops us from having a Bears podcast.

And we are pleased to be joined by our pre and post game analyst Jim Miller,

who is down in Houston. After a week in Mobile, Alabama, Jim, good to talk to you.

You're a busy man these days, huh? Yeah, I am busy and a lot going on and really got the

opportunity to watch the Bears coach the North Squad down in Mobile, Alabama. And I really think

they got good insight on a lot of good players that are coming up in the 2017 draft.

Well, let's start with that here, and especially the quarterbacks who were down there.

It wasn't expected that anyone was going to particularly knock anyone's socks off.

There wasn't a particularly high caliber out there.

And I'm not even sure if anybody particularly helped themselves.

There was talk all week that Nate Peterman of Pitt,

who is on John Fox's North Squad, had a good week of practice.

But I don't know about you, Jimmy.

He didn't seem to have a very good game at all,

despite what the statistics may end up showing.

Yeah, he had a good week of practice leading up to the game

and really got three quarters in the game.

But the pass rush, things like that

were problematic. But, you know, he came in a little bit shorter than what anybody expected,

but Nate Peterman is more of a West Coastal quarterback, is how I view him out of Pittsburgh.

Really ran a productive offense. They scored about 43 and a half points of game, which was a school record,
