I, when I knew I wanted to do a podcast, this was one of the people at the top of the list.

I wanted interview and I know that might seem perhaps random, I don't know maybe it won't.

But growing up in St. Louis, Mike Bush is someone who was not only a part of my childhood,

but a part of my television career

when I was at KMOV, and he was sports director at KSDK.

But then also, you know, since we've had Larry

Connor's on the show, people have been discussing, yeah, who is, you know, if you're

thinking about St. Louis news anchors, Mount Rushmore, people love hashtag Mount Rushmore's or love to mock them.

But either way, and I think for many people, especially people right around my age and younger,

they can only picture Mike Bush as a news anchor but he was the

sports director at KSDK for god I don't know 15 16 years before he became the lead

news anchor and so when I thought about an interview I felt like here's

somebody who hasn't really been interviewed like this who is one of the most

recognizable people in St. Louis outside of like members of the Cardinals or Blues

and has seen both St. Louis sports news, some of the biggest stories, St. Louis news stories and has been doing it in the market

since 1985. On top of that he was the voice of the Rams when they won the Super Bowl in 1999,

but only was doing it for one year.
