Summary

Best to the Nest is our podcast all about creating happy, healthy, beautiful homes that prepare us to fly. Well, it’s actually six. Writer Stephanie March joins the conversation about the three words we would use to describe ourselves pre-motherhood and the three words we use to describe ourselves now. No tears this time, just a fun little romp through our spongey brains. Follow Stephanie @stephaniemarch on Instagram and see her beautiful post about her mom.

Oh gosh, Marjorie, this is a good topic today. This is very

0:22.2

intense. It is very intense. So hold on, people. It's pre-mom, post-mom, okay? Who you were

0:28.8

pre-motherhood, who you were post-motherhood. And you are now. Shockingly, they're two different

but instead I'm going to go eat two burgers.

1:17.5

Oh, you suffer.

1:18.9

You suffer for your art.

1:20.5

Let's just be clear that, like, I'm never going to be that, like, you know, girl in a

1:24.7

size two pants, but I will be very well fed and happy.

1:27.6

Isn't that the truth? I like that idea. I know. I try to do that nice balance of like,

1:32.7

how can I still be what I want with just being in like one to two sizes above where I would

1:38.3

ideally be? That's what. Yeah. Like, where is that balance? Where is it? Okay.

1:45.0

So Stephanie is, what's great about having Stephanie here is that, you know, Stephanie is a frequent contributor on Twin Cities Live.
