Today, I sit down with my good friend Jordan Dugger, better known as Doug aesthetics on Instagram.

So we dove into his show prep, which he crushed.

And we dove into exactly how we did that, not only from a perspective of how do you get as lean as possible as an advanced lifter, but also how did you maintain as much muscle mass?

Yes, I know there's a lot of people pissless in this, but he did consume 500 grams of carbs per day during his prep diet.

But it's all relative. And we talk about that like energy balances energy balance, which means that there's an energy gap going from a maintenance to a deficit.

It doesn't matter where that is because physiologically person to person, it's the exact same thing.

So we touch on the science behind how he could be eating that much and I could be over here

eating 100 grams carbs, but we're still both in a physiological deficit.
