First of all, I just want us to pause and take a breath.

We're hearing from a lot of you lately and you are nervous.

Understandably nervous about all of the economic data that is coming your way.

At the time that we are recording this and it is very early September,

the markets are reacting to the recent job report, which showed that hiring is slowing a little bit.

The economy might be cooling off.

That, by the way, is a good thing that the interest rate hikes that we have seen so far this year may in fact be doing their job just enough to bring down inflation.

But not so much that unemployment skyrockets.

We've also seen stocks tumbling with what was looking like a summer comeback very quickly turning into an early autumn slump.

And even though the Dow was up a little bit in response to the jobs numbers, it's still down almost 7% from its height in August.
