Welcome to Talking Scripture. I'm Mike.

0:25.3

And I'm Bryce.

0:26.2

And today we are covering Section 85, 86, and 87 of the Doctrine Covenants.

0:32.6

Section 85 is a portion of a letter that Joseph Smith is writing to W.W. Phelps, and it's dealing with the

1:39.1

the shaft of death. Edward Partridge was kind of pushing back against some of the direction from Ohio. And so to me,

1:46.7

this is just my reading, but I look at it as it could be Edward Partridge, it could be his replacement.

1:51.5

It's a difficult principle because we value everyone. Everyone matters. But at the same time,
