on the Satipatana Suta, the Buddha's discourse on the four foundations of mindfulness.

Now this particular suta has an honored and very central place in the Buddha's

teachings.

Bix has he clear in the Buddhist teachings. Vixasi clearly and very unambiguously says in the very opening paragraph of the

Suta, this is the direct way. of the

Suta, this is the direct way for the purification of beings,

for the overcoming of sorrow,

for the disappearance of pain and grief,

for reaching the noble path,

for the realization of Nibana,

namely the four foundations of mindfulness.

Well, it's a very direct statement about the fruit of this practice.
