Looking at people at Harvard right now, and there's immense confusion and fear over this because they're

actually struggling to interpret some parts of these, at least the students are.

So it sounds like they have basically lost their ability to enroll international students,

and so that's going to impact future students. But we're also hearing

that Nome, Christy Nome, the secretary of DHS, announced that current international students there

must transfer or lose their status. Transfer to another American university. Another university

that would be in good standing with this program. So what that means a couple weeks out from

graduation day is that if those students don't transfer, they might lose their legal status here in the U.S.

And we know what this administration has been doing. What is the timeline on them having to do this?

Well, it sounds, Katie, from the letter. I'm looking at Secretary Nome's letter to Harvard.

It says the revocation of your student and exchange visitor

program certification, and that's the program through which...

Your visa. Right. It's the program through which universities are certified every two years to have

foreign students and non-citizens on their campuses. It says, you are prohibited from having any

aliens on certain non-immigrant statuses for the 2025-20206 academic school year.

But to Antonia's point, the beginning of the letter starts, I'm writing to inform you that effective immediately, Harvard University's student and exchange visitor program certification is revoked.
