0:32.4	a reader's question that I've got asked a few times and it's such an interesting one. So basically,
0:38.2	the question is does Annie hate alcohol? Oh, wow. What a good question. What an interesting layered
0:47.0	question. So I'm going to go at this from a few different ways. First of all, very practically.
0:53.2	Alcohol is also in my hand sanitizer. So no, it also is in my cleaning products and it drives my car.
1:01.9	Ethanol is what we put in our gas tank in most gas pumps in America and other parts of the world.
1:08.3	So no, I don't hate the substance. In fact, I don't I don't even think a substance could be good or bad
1:14.9	at all. But I do hate some of the things that alcohol stole from me in my life, some of the memories,
1:23.1	some of the physical aspects to just feeling hungover or feeling sick. I am very frustrated with
1:29.3	that in my own life and I think that I'm very passionate about that. In fact, one of my friends
1:34.9	husbands approached my husband and said, hey, how's it feel to be married to the anti alcohol
1:39.7	evangelist? So I think that I am very passionate about it. You know, when I was writing this naked mind,
1:46.8	I remember coming out of my office, I had already stopped drinking and I was just doing some of
1:52.8	the research to fill in the holes to the research that I had already done. And I was doing research
1:58.7	on the effect of alcohol on children and families. And I came out of my office like literally,
2:05.6	actually, you know what, I didn't come out of my office. My husband walked in to me
2:09.7	in my office and I was sobbing hysterically and he had heard me sobbing. And I was, had been
2:16.7	reading about how how children feel so alone when their parents are drunk. Even if they're the happy
2:25.6	kissy go lucky, I love you buddy comes in my lap kind of drunk. The kids just feel totally unbalanced
2:32.9	and detached. And you know, I remember adults being like that when I was a kid. And you know, since
