My guest today is David Stockman.

Those that follow business and politics in the United States of America,

it's a name that you will probably recall. David has been a businessman. He has been a congressman.

And he was also director of the Office of Management and Budget under President Ronald Reagan.

What really grabbed my attention, the main reason I wanted to have David on.

Two reasons.

His book, The Great Deformation, The Corruption of Capitalism in America, and his comments about

President Woodrow Wilson.

David brings just an amazing amount of detail to politics,

economics, business. And I got to tell you, he is going to make some people on the left angry.

He's going to make some people on the right angry. He's going to make those that support welfare

angry. He's going to make those that support welfare angry. He's going to make those

that support warfare angry. And as a side note, the main reason I am speaking with David is because

all of these years ago, the editor on my first two books, a great lady named Celia Strauss,

and Celia really taught me a lot about writing.

She taught me a lot about the process of how to go about it. Not necessarily from conversations

even, from just watching how she thinks, how she thought on my books, how she could assist

me to think about my writing. Great stuff.
