0:27.2	And today we're going to be covering sections 60 through 63 of the Doctrine Covenants.
0:32.6	These revelations are centered around some of the brethren coming home to Ohio out of Jackson County,
0:41.4	Missouri. To give you a little bit of context, it's August, it's hot, it's 1831, the church is
0:48.4	just over a year old. They've dedicated the land for the city of the central place of Zion,
0:59.9	and the missionaries are going to go back to Ohio, and they have some questions.
1:03.1	And they want to know, you know, how should we go back?
1:04.1	What should we do?
1:07.3	Is there some direction that the Lord would like to give us?
1:11.6	And these are some of the core missionaries at the beginning of this dispensation. And so there's so many things going on historically along the river. And if you've ever wondered what's
1:17.4	going on in Section 61 with the destroyer riding upon the waters, because that's a very strange thing.
1:23.0	The destroyer riding upon the waters. Like, who is the destroyer? It's become tradition in the church to quote
1:29.4	section 61 as to why missionaries can't go swimming. Right. That Satan has power over the waters. And so a lot
1:36.2	of tradition is being dealt with this week in these sections. And we'll deal with all of that when we get to
1:41.7	section 61. Hang on. We're going to get there.
