is the charm. Welcome to the January edition of Watch, Read, Listen, where we tell you what we're watching, reading, and listening to. Hi, Marjorie.

Hello, lady. Yeah, I'm a little bit of a mess this morning and I have no reason to be,

but it's been a great, great month of watching because I've been out of class and I haven't been

teaching. So I've had a lot of time to binge watch again. Oh my gosh. This is what's been happening to me. And I've just been like listening to things on

Audible. And I'm trying to take a little bit of a break from podcasts, not this podcast, not from other

ones that I'm listening to so that I can hear some stories. So we've got some fun stuff to talk about.

What have you been watching? Slow horses. What's that? Have you heard about this? No.

Oh my gosh. It's so good. And the only problem with slow horses is that it's, uh, it hasn't all

dropped. So I'm having to watch it week to week. That's good for you. You need that. I know.

It's absolutely, it's true. It's absolutely painful. But it's with Gary Oldman. It's about a bunch of loser MI5 agents in London. Gary Oldman, who, you know the actor I'm talking about. I'm trying to think of other things he's been in. Yeah. Good looking actor. For sure. Distinguished. Well, they've made his, they've made him as gross and as smelly and

disheveled as possible. You can smell him through the television. It's that bad. It's that bad.

But he's such a great character. So it's a spy thriller series all on Apple Plus. Totally worth it. And I think we're about five in. So if you're just starting it now, you get to binge the first five or six. It's really, really good. Okay. How long are the episodes? And an hour. I like to know if this is something that you want to watch with your significant other, particularly if your

significant other is a man, because those can be few and far between of finding stuff to watch together.

He would love it. I mean, I am 100% confident that Jay would love this. And it's, Ian and I watch it

together. And it's we both, it's, you're exactly right. It's just fun to know that you're both watching something you really

like. Like Ian really likes true crime. Yeah. I don't. Yeah. I just, I don't. And so those are the things that

I'll just walk away from, but both of us have been loving this. So it's on Apple Plus.

Like when Jay has a hockey game on, I'm like, I mean, I'm happy to go to a hockey game. I mean, I like going to a hockey game. But I don't want to sit and watch it on TV.

I just don't.
